The art of sourcing local "how we find the best clotted cream"

"In the heart of Cornwall, we're fortunate to have two exceptional clotted cream producers, Roddas and Trewithen, each celebrated for their outstanding quality. While the choice between these two local treasures is a tough one, our dedication to keeping it as local as possible has led us to select Trewithen. Nestled in the charming town of Lostwithiel, it's just a stone's throw away from our own doorstep.

Furthermore, our clotted cream hails from Greymare Farm, a beloved dairy operation nestled in the picturesque Glynn Valley. Since 1976, the Clarke family has lovingly owned and managed this beautiful farm. In 1994, they ventured into the world of dairy production, crafting some of Cornwall's finest dairy products.

We're absolutely thrilled to include this exquisite cream in our gift boxes, as it encapsulates the true essence of Cornwall in every delectable bite. With a history steeped in family tradition and a commitment to quality, Trewithen's clotted cream adds a touch of local authenticity to your Cornish cream tea experience."
